Unless someone has BBC America and they air them on there… no, British soaps aren’t aired on American stations. I’m sure there’s people who watch them online and on things like Netflix, but I’ve never seen any on regular cable.
BBC America doesn’t show any of the ones you’ve listed. I do watch a bit of Brit TV…Mostly “You Are What You Eat” and “Dragon’s Den” along with “Mr. Bean” & “Little Britain” for me, though.
I’ve heard of those programs, especially Eastenders, but have yet to ever see them. I didn’t know they were soaps, in fact. For some reason I thought they were weekly dramas.
Public Television has quite a number of British shows. The laugh tracks keep me from watching the funny ones, except occasionally, but I love the detective shows and dramas. I dote on Foyle’s War and Inspector Morse and the like.
My favorite show of all time is a Brit comedy. I actually paid good money to buy the complete series on DVD…something unheard of for a pirate such as myself.
