I guess halflings, better known as hobbits.
I’m often confused about the word ’‘troll’’...in Dungeons&Dragons, a troll is usually some eleven foot tall monstrosity that uses tree trunks as weapons. :/ But it’s also used for something small in other mediums. Hm.
We also got beings like nymphs, which if I’m not mistaken, are kinda like fairies, but much bigger, yet a little smaller than a human. Those are similar to elves in that they’re all one with nature and shit, in fact, even more so than elves themselves. Usually they’re depicted as a physical manifestation of nature itself, beyond trees and rivers and stuff.
Irish mythology also has brownies, which are nasty little brown skinned imps that smell like spoiled milk and like to play tricks and cause misfortune on humans. But if you play by their rules, they can be very kindly. I don’t think those are said to be much taller than half a mug of beer though lol.
