Out of the four types of TV connectors, is there one which is the most universal ? See details.

I’m hoping there is one type of connector which will be found on all TV sets regardless of whether they are analog or digital or HD or not.

The four to which I refer are HDMI, Composite (RWY), Coax, and Component.

I’m aware of the quality differences in the type of picture you’ll end up with. That is the LEAST of my concerns since this will be a secondary (or supplemental) viewing option.

My PRIMARY CONCERN is versatility. If there is one type guaranteed to be on pretty much ANY TV, then that’s the one I want.

If there is no such animal, then whichever one is the option for the greatest number of TV types is what I’m most interested in.

I want to get this right once and for all regardless of where I live or which type of TV I’m using.

I used to think that was Coax. Apparently I was way off base on that.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
