I’m doing a project that involves animal quilt blocks, I need some ideas for patterns. Do you have any favorite sites than can help me? Thanks!

A lot of times I make my own patterns up by using grid paper and create a pattern I like. You can either make up a repeating pattern or you can make a pattern with a large design in the middle.

@XOIIO:I do use Google. nice link, some of those might help, thank you Google, however, doesn’t me tell what the favorite sites are of Jellies who do these things. There are often places that don’t show up in a quick search that others know about.

@creative1 : Thanks, I already do that, I want to see a number of different patterns to get different ideas..

@JilltheTooth: Are you looking for applique or pieced patterns? This site has possibilities for applique. I would, personally, simplify the number and choice of fabrics and the outlines.

And here. The sheep and the guinea pig are cute.

Thanks, @gailcalled ! That’s exactly the kind of thing I was asking about!

@JilltheTooth: The patterns are a good jumping off point, if you can trace and or sketch. You can also incorporated them into sweaters if you are a knitter.

Oh, I was so confused by your use of the word Jelly. You meant Fluther users. Jelly roll is a new way of quilting that doesn’t use blocks.
