Cats. They are cute and funny but still have attitude. Hopefully people wouldn’t eat them either. Can we still have fishes in the sea to feed the Cats?
Cows. I’m sure we can find a way to make a ‘beef bacon’ or get used to beef jerky as a substitute. I could not do without cheese in its many wondrous forms and icecream. No one had better take away my chocolate ice cream. (and yes, I’ve tried the soy alternatives and they are horrible)
No way I can choose between my 3 favorite animals. Cats, horses and geese.
All you need for a little farm.
Cats kill the mice that eat the grain the horses plow that feed the geese that make the eggs that are layed in the barn of the house that Coloma built. lol
A species that is delicious enough to be eaten if necessary, strong and fast enough to be used as means of transport, not vicious, pleasant to look at…hmmm…
We can’t get rid of insects. I was in no way even contemplating insects in this scenario. (puts on her Dr. Sheldon Cooper voice). Insects are a completely different branch of animal. If you get rid of insects, then you have to go all the way back and destroy the coral reefs and that just won’t work. We will all die, whether we have fruit on our trees or bacon! No.. no… no. This just won’t do. I think I’m going to have to work on one of my very special agreement documents to make this work.
Bacteria? Or bees? I don’t get the premise of this question because without biodiversity… We, as a species, would be royally fucked. And by royally fucked I mean dead.
To repeat an earlier thought of mine: Animals are good people. Are people good animals?
