Yesterday, I noticed that the tip of my thumb felt numb——especially the thumb nail area. If I press my thumb down on a hard surface, I can feel this strange sensation, especially around my thumb nail, as if I had accidentally hit my thumb with a hammer or someone had stepped on top of my thumb. What would cause this numb feeling? I am still feeling it today.
