Can you help me find the coolest backpack for my 5 year old kindergartener?

“Great Question” (2points)

I bought him this really cute backpack that looks like a dragon with tongue out and it was green and red and perfect. Now, apparently, it’s too small and he needs something bigger, the teacher says, so that she doesn’t have to fold his folders and books anymore. Can you find me a link to a really cool-looking bag? Please remember..don’t just shop for a boy, I want all kinds of backpacks.

There are lots out there but you have to sift through the regular boring stuff. Careful if you google or bing funbags…I did not exactly get links to fun bags. Just sayin.

You should give this as a homework assignment. Everything is listed as girl or boy where I was looking.

Solid black Jansport. Backpacks don’t need cool designs…...that’s too typical.

@judochop LOL, you’re on fire today! I love those backpacks in the first link and I would get the SW one but it’ll be too big.

@Blackberry Well I didn’t mean cool like I care that it looks cool. I just meant something that isn’t the usual crap out there.

@Simone_De_Beauvoir I retract my answer, get the baccapack. Lol.

@Blackberry It would be so big for him and there is no space in school for something like that. Think Brooklyn public school.

@Simone_De_Beauvoir literally on fire.. I am home with the godforsaken flu.

@judochop Sorry to hear it. I have a 25 page paper to write on Max Weber’s view on secularization and disenchantment. Wanna trade?

@Simone_De_Beauvoir I just stared at the screen with a blank look for about 25 seconds. I almost forgot where I was after reading that. Does that answer your question?

Simone_De_Beauvoir's avatar

@judochop Not really, considering that I’ve been doing the same for hours. Though I have around 7 books and 15 scholarly articles surrounding me on the bed.

Why am I aroused from that? Hahahah.

I shouldn’t be on the computer, I am sorry. Here are some backpacks.

@Blackberry I don’t think that’s so weird, at all. Kind of hot.

Here is one covered with wild animals.

Here are some neat plush animal ones (and they’re on sale).

Here is a nice one with an elephant on it.

Here is a cool puppy one.

@marinelife Those are all great!

If you want him to have it for years, get one from LL Bean. They have plenty of colors and patterns to choose from, just get your son’s favorite.

I love the Madpax spiked backpack. I noticed @judochop also found it! The site I linked to has a picture of a little boy wearing the halfpack size so you can see how big it is relative to a child close to your son’s size. The reviewer also says it is very well made.

Simone_De_Beauvoir's avatar

@Supacase Yeah, thanks – I just got the green one!

This is the one I carry around. My friends can always spot me from miles away when I have it. Really, anything from YakPak is awesome though. They’re durable, they come in all sorts of awesomesauce colors and designs and they’re a good size for a 5-year-old.
