Nobody’s perfect and I wouldn’t hesitate to say I’m sorry. Some people can’t. Can you? Have you? When?

When I am wrong, I am quick to apologize.

Yes I am and I would welcome that opportunity to change it.

Great! @Cruiser‘s back! : )

I am the awful kind of person who hates to apologize. I still have to pinpoint what happened in my childhood that made me this prideful. What I have learned to do however is not repeat the same mistake, upon which I would have to say sorry for, twice.

I’m probably too quick to apologize. I get a lot of, “No, no. It’s all right.” Better to err on the, what? “sorry” side?

Absolutely, being able to apologize is hallmark of a secure and emotionally mature psyche.
Infact, I waste no time with those that show me they are too fragile and ego bound to handle modest confrontation, and be pro-active in their apologies or ability to constructively handle a complaint, request, or criticism of their behavior.

There is something in particular I’m sorry about and I’d change it if I could. It’s not so much the outcome as the timing, that sort of thing.

There are some people that always blame others, some like me, when I was younger and raising a family would think, if only I was more, I shoulda, I coulda, etc., whenever an issue resulted in a problem no matter how minor the problem was. But, then as I got older, in my 60s, I came to realize that I wasn’t that powerful to cause mountains to collapse, etc. There will always be problems, that’s life, and the best thing one can do is to move on and work towards a more positive future.

As I recently mentioned in another thread, I apologize all the time. I even apologize for over-apologizing! It’s kind of ridiculous, really. When I really do have something to apologize for, I never have any trouble doing it, and doing it sincerely. I hate hurting people, even when I have to for some reason. :(

I apologize too much.

Like @augustlan, I find myself constantly apologizing for things I had no control over, as well as times when my judgement or timing fell short. It’s probably a bit annoying.
And I am truly sorry for that.
