Did Ask Marilyn get it wrong this time?
I regularly read the Ask Marilyn column in the Parade magazine supplement. I remember the controversy surrounding her perfectly correct answer to the Monty Hall problem. This week she was given a much more elementary probability problem I was really surprised by her answer and agree with the person’s criticism. How can one account for this?
