Are my eyes considered black or brown?

My eyes always look black but I look in a mirror that makes everything look closer my eyes look very dark brown(almost black) but when I close and open my eyes in front of the mirror my eyes look black again.

Genuinely black eyes are extremely rare, so it is likely that you have very dark brown eyes. If they are really so dark that it is hard to tell even on close inspection, however, you can probably get away with claiming that they are black.

If you want to post a picture of your eyes, people would probably be willing to tell you what color they would call your eyes.

I had to look at the large version of the photo to see any brown, so my own opinion is that your eyes are so very dark brown that you can call them black or virtually black. With any luck, some other jellies will come along and give their own opinions.

I guess if you ever see brown then they are probably technically brown, but you can call them black if that is what you usually see them to be.

They look like my eyes! I would say dark brown.

I think they are brown. Brown eyes, to me, not matter how dark have a warm tone. I see that in your eye color. I don’t see why you couldn’t call it black, if that’s what you prefer, though.
