No vomiting or weight gain here, just the cramps and nausea. And more cramps. And cramps, did I mention cramps? The joy of it is- when you have endometriosis, you sometimes cramp all month long and have lots of ovarian pain. And nosebleeds. Damn, I love being a woman…
@Ayesha – I don’t know how old you are, but I was lucky enough to grow out of the nausea by the time I was 18. Of course, that took 7 years thank you very much Mother Friggin’ Nature but at least it stopped. I hope you feel better soon!
Yes, yes and yes again. I had the most awful cramps in the world. was extremely nauseous and ate almost nothing. I’m on depopravera (I don’t remember how to spell it). I now have NO periods, NO cramps, and NO nausea (unless I have like the stomach flu).
Lying down with a heat pad under you really helps. Also taking something like tylenol helps. Note about ibuprofen: even though it’s really effective for helping pain, it also makes your bleeding heavier because it slightly reduces your platelet count apparently, so use it only if no other painkillers are effective.
