@YARNLADY @jazmina88 Exercise is actually pretty easy for us. Even though you might be able to run a triathlon, it’s advised that we just walk. I walk for about 40 minutes on a treadmill everyday, and alot of people have noticed that I’m losing weight.
@jazmina88 All my test strips are dead, so I can’t test my sugar levels. I’m not on any shots but I do have insulin. But I’m on 4 pills :( it’s like swallowing a sock 2 times a day. Also, sugar free is actually proven to lead to multiple sclerosis (Aspartame). I normally drink low calorie sodas, like the new Dr. Pepper ten and diet Sunkist (Mountain Dew has a 10 calorie soda too, but Mountain Dew was the last soda I drank before I was diagnosed, so I refuse to drink any Mountain Dew)
@cprevite Pasta is my vice, but I seem to have no problems with it. Bread, It took awhile for me to veer away from things like sandwiches and stuff. When I was first diagnosed I was trying to eat healthier, so I tried to eat at subway. My blood sugar was always 420 from eating there. I was confused, I can eat chinese food and pizza but I can’t have a turkey sandwich? I’m the type of diabetic that can’t have ANY bread. Cereal does it too, but I had a donut stick one time and I was ok with that.
