“Great Question” (2points)

We are such consumers, I recently looked around and I actually cannot even begin to understand all the stuff I have managed to collect just in this past year. I cannot find one thing beside personal hygiene products that I can see I needed. I am about to simplify my life. So I was wondering what was the last thing you bought that your proud of.

The last things I bought: A jug of iced tea, a jug of milk, a box of pre-cooked bacon, a bag of Cheesy Poofs, a block of cheddar cheese, a tub of whipped butter, and a slew other things I don’t remember.

Except for our house, I can’t really think of anything I’ve been proud to buy.
Did you mean excited to buy?

I enjoy my surroundings but am not even close to being extremely materialistic.
I believe in keeping a colorful and comfortable home, because our homes are our havens and I feel it is really important to have appealing surroundings.

That said, the most recent thing I bought that I am proud of was the adoption fee for my new cat “Myles”, a drop dead GORGEOUS tuxedo ragdoll cat that I brought home in early Dec.

For a mere $40 ( ½ off shelter price for December ) I have the most loving and magnificent 5 year old throw away cat.
I am proud to see him blossom and enjoy his new home. I couldn’t have picked a better cat and it puzzles me that nobody claimed him for over 6 weeks.

At least 10 more years of pure love for the bargain price of $40 :-D

A roadhazzard policy for my mom’s new set of car tires. For most people, I’d say it’s a waste of money but for my mom, it’s a necessessity since she has awful luck with her cars. Sure enough, bolt in the tire that was quickly repaired at no cost to her and documented towards a free fresh replacement.

I really never buy anything that I don’t need. I’m not really proud of my purchases, I just see them as necessities. I don’t like to spend money. Ever.

A neuter/rabies ‘package’ for my stupid neighbor’s cat. He’s cool, she’s a jerk. Now he’ll chill and not breed. ~She still sucks.

Coloma's avatar

@Hain_roo That was VERY nice of you, maybe you should steal the cat from your negligent neighbor.

I’m hoping he might jump ship! He’s six months old with no name. “I call all cats Kitty” She’s never known one- yucky story. :( He’s a cool little dude.

I got a throw for my bed which is just dreamy and makes going to bed much more appealing than before. My house is cold!

A large, stylish, with lid, wicker basket big enough to float Moses and his entire family. I am pleased with the purchase because for a,low, low price I got a great value added item to store those unsightly papers I’ve been meaning to go through “this weekend.”
