I, LOVE, THE DESERT. I live in Colorado right now and while that is nice being around high desert and the mountains are beautiful, I am really more of a desert person. I fucking love southern Utah and Arizona and would be there all the time if I could. For the past year I have toyed with the notion of moving into the midst of it. However there aren’t very many towns in the areas of Utah that I like that I would ever want to live in. Kanab, Utah and Page, Arizona are both smack dab in the middle of where I want to be, but the towns are touristy and really not happenin at all. And, being young, I would like a place where I could still go out, go to shows, and most importantly enjoy nature.

I know that Flagstaff is not really in the desert and it’s more in the mountains of northern Arizona, but it’s still much closer to the places that I want to be close to than I currently am . I have been several times and it seems like a really cool and “hip” place. I do not care that it is especially hip, but there were a lot of young people which is something I dig, and it seems pretty artsy and whatever. I just don’t know very much about the place, the weather specifically is something I’m interested in. Is there much diversity? I currently live in a place with almost only white people and you can’t go out to a club and hear anything but dubstep. It makes me kinda lose faith in humanity.
