Which is better - leaving a cut open while it is healing, or keeping it covered?
I had an unfortunate kitchen accident late last week that resulted in a lovely wound on the tip of my finger. My tendency is to want to keep it covered, and others have recommended I keep it open to “dry out” and heal quicker. So what is the final word on this, keep a cut covered, or leave it uncovered?
