I’m doing a polar plunge this weekend! A town over has a festival every March called “Frozen Dead Guy Days”....it’s a long story about a dead guy who wanted to be frozen and now theres a celebration yearly. Anyhow they do a polar plunge into the nearby resevoir and I’m finally going to do it! I’m super super super excited. Couldn’t tell you why but I’ve always wanted to do one. For the thrill, I guess.

I have to think about my other bucket list items. I know that I want to spend a month or two on my bike, ideally with someone else, riding across the Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico desert. Maybe next fall. I have lofty aspirations. Now that I’m put on the spot I can’t think of anything else even though I have nine billion!

I’m taking the family to Disneyland.

Going to the Pacific Northwest which I hope to do this summer.

Getting back into painting.

Write a significant piece of fiction.

Live in a lively college town.

Cross-country, post-graduation, Hunter S. Thompson-esque trek across the US.

Going to Ireland. I so want to go!!!! I am of Irish descent (partially) and I would like to see the home country. I love Irish music and dancing. I love rolling green hills. I love the whole mythology of Ireland, the castles, the brogue, the spirit of the people. My husband and I both have the same ancestry and both want to go. He has relatives there that we are in touch with but never met. Definite bucket list material!!
