I think she’s sexy. I can’t listen to her music without getting turned on. My (female) roommate introduced me to her and she feels the same way. Lana sucks live, though, and apparently her existence has caused a shit-storm among internet feminists, but I have yet to investigate as to why.

I think she has a unique-ish voice and I really enjoy some of her songs. I like that kind of deep, honest voice in female singers.

I don’t like her, I find her music semi-repulsive and in general, very boring. Too slow. Not interesting. NEXT.

I think the uproar from the whole hipster blogger community is hilarious. They got trolled into liking pop music and now they can’t admit it and have all decided she’s no good anymore.

Personally, I think it’s okay. Nothing spectacular or groundbreaking, but a nice, easy to listen to pop record with a bit less sunshine and happiness than most. And I like that.

She a fraud. She used to be a very normal girl a few years ago, and there were videos of her singing in tracksuits on youtube, but they have all mysteriously dissappeared since she became famous. Her lips have had injection btw.

Vocally she reminds me a little bit of Stevie Nicks. That was what I thought the first time I heard her so it’s all I can think of when I hear her now. Of the music I have heard I quite like it although I wouldn’t rush out and buy a whole album.

@lemming I’m not sure how she is a fraud simply because she has changed her image since her Youtube days. Have you seen some of the early Lady Gaga (before she even had that name) footage on Youtube. It was just her and a piano without all the weird costumes and make-up. Unless there is more to it that you didn’t mention, her image change and becoming more famous since her Youtube days does not make her a fraud, she’s probably just learnt what is going to further her career and what won’t. The tracksuit and “normal” look obviously didn’t help to further her career in the way she wanted.

I think that she is super boring. I mean, some of the songs are nice, I’ll admit that much, but she really does sound awful live. I was watching SNL (I know, great resource, right?), and I couldn’t believe that they put her on the show. Here stage presence (I mean, lack there of) was horrendous. That she’s overrated. She sings well enough on her album, but isn’t very good live.

I like her. She seems very humble, talented, fascinating and unique. She’s a also very charming and seems like a decent person; very kind to her fans and even kind to the paparazzi.
