Where is a safe site online to purchase new and used guitars that isn't eBay?

Craigslist… Nothing better than being able to meet, see it in person and negotiate.

House of Guitars has been around for a long time and has a great reputation. They have an estore or you can call. Use them to determine prices.

If you just want low prices and reliability (don’t need expert salespeople who will walk you through all your choices), I recommend nulime—http://www.nulime.com/Guitars-String-Musical-Instruments-c1109.html

I’ve used them for drums several times over the years and they consistently have the lowest prices (and a huge range of choices in stock).
