Why is it that highway patrol officers leave their motor vehicles running while on break at a food shop?
I walked into a Starbucks today and saw a highway patrol car in the lot running with no one inside. I thought nothing much of it. “They must be trying to avoid the long car line outside so they’re just ordering to go.” To my dismay, two highway patrol officers were sitting down in the corner enjoying, sipping lightly their drinks. Can someone help me understand how this is ok? Aren’t our tax dollars paying for the gasoline fuel up of these officers?
