Signing with a recording company would certainly be a positive step. There aren’t many radio stations who play music on a whim from “an unknown”. Radio stations play statistically popular music. They have to in order to be a successful radio station.

The right recording company can make sure your music is heard in a variety of venues.. to include the radio. Successful recording companies have to do that to be successful themselves.

Find out if there’s any local music competitions sponsored by radio stations near you. You can also find out if any of the stations near you have a local hour. You might have the best luck with college radio.

College radio is your best bet IMO.

If ya get your music uploaded somewhere and send it to me I’ll play it on my radio show when I get back to the states.
