If I did a bad job cutting my big toenail, is there anything I should do to prevent problems?
I cut my big toenail, and then pulled the nail piece (ripped it) down the side. I didn’t totally rip it off, because it would have been too short and I know you’re supposed to cut toenails straight across. So now I have this half on-half off piece on the side of my toenail. It doesn’t hurt or anything, but I am concerned it may become ingrown. I think if the piece came off, it would have more chance of becoming ingrown. Is there anything I should do to prevent problems? Or just leave it alone?
