I manage a store hosted on Yahoo and we do not use the shipment status feature because it requires using UPS for delivery (and we use the USPS). You might be able to find shipping methods on the store’s site or better yet, on a confirmation email.

As for using the order# in a generic Yahoo Store URL structure to find status, I can’t answer that.
