I’m going to Florida this summer for the ARTS and I need good fundraising ideas. Help? Thanks.

The obvious one is to create art projects and sell them at local festivals and farmers markets. There’s also the Sees candy bar fund raisers.

Hometown Buffet does one where you buy a bunch of cards $5 a piece and turn around and sell them at $10 a pop. These cards offer 8 buy one get one free meals each. It’s pretty nice.

What is your specialty with the arts, if its painting then do up some paintings and have a sale of them, there are plenty of venues where you can just get a booth. Have signs that the proceeds are going to your cause.

What about asking some local musicians to play for a couple of hours each? If you could get someone to give you the space for free, you could charge $10 per person or whatever you think is reasonable.

I think a good one is having a bake sale. Or, a pot luck, and sell off the recipes for $5 a recipe. To make the bake sale creative, design the cupcakes or brownies in a form of art. Like, disign a cupcake with music notes, or do paint splatter brownies. Even better, make an impressionism mural of food.

Just a thought.

I’d have to say a bake sale would be the best. Or maybe a garage sale. Me, my mom, and my brother had a garage sale, just getting rid of some old stuff we don’t even use. We made 350$ that day. Do that for a week and it looks like you’re set :) same goes for bake sale. Make a batch of about 3 dozen cookies and go into a large, crowded area and set up a tent. That usually attracts people better.

@ToxicLove do you know any stores that are bear the road you live? Maybe you could set up in front on a Wal-Mart or something, like the salvation army or girl scouts
