There is another option which may work for you and may yield significantly greater savings. Im stating this based on the amounts ive saved myself on my own prescriptions and im assuming that, depending upon which medication it is, will translate to pet meds.
Hopefully you have an Android phone or tablet. There are several apps available in the marketplace which give you huge discounts at participating pharmacies and evidently this applies to pet meds also. Evidently there are increasing numbers of pharmacies which now carry pet meds as well as human. If I remember correctly both Kroger (definitely) and KMart do and I cant remember the others but you can check in your local area.
I know that you’re in Canada, but im going to check through the apps I have to be certain they apply there as well. And with most of these apps, you can input the name of the med, and get price quotes in advance as well as a list of participating pharmacies.
I was pretty doubtful about all of them until I tried it for myself and boy was I surprised at how much I save each month.
Also, most of these have a website where you can download and print out their card if you done have an Android device. Its just quicker and more streamlined with the app for getting prices and pharmacies.
Ill take a closer look at the ones I have and edit them in.
