Can you tell me how to adjust the speed of a transition in Power Point?

I really don’t like Windows 7 at all. There should be a button right next to “Sound” “Duration” etc. that says, “Speed.” But there isn’t. The help button was no help.

Wouldn’t changing the duration work?

I’ll see….

Not as far as I can tell.

I just tried it and it worked. Maybe I’m misunderstanding your question. Can you explain what you’re trying to do?

I’m making a monster thing. Long empty hallway, then the next transition a zombie is supposed to SWOOP in on you. Right now is comes it at either slow, maybe medium. It needs to come in super fast, but I can’t figure out how to change the speed.

Ok, so you aren’t transitioning to a new slide, you are animating the zombie picture?

Right. This is weird. There is a “duration” button on the main screen, but it just gives increments, I guess as high as you want to go. But in the actual transition control screen there is a “duration” button. It does label them as Very Slow up to Very Fast. I picked .5, very fast. It does control it. What I can’t figure out is what the “duration” button on the main screen is supposed to do.

Make sure that you are changing the duration of the animation, rather than the duration of the transition.

I got it. It’s retarded! (my presentation is! :) But I don’t know why they can’t just call it “speed” like they used to.
Now, if I wanted to post in on FaceBook, how do I set it to start playing as soon as someone clicks on the picture?

(Thanks for the help, Nik!)
