Who sells the best solid white tuna in a can?

“Great Question” (1points)

I’m tired of buying and paying for solid white tuna and what I get is really chunky tuna mixed with some solid tuna. First it was chicken of the sea and now its happening with bumble bee. I have even purchased the large cans hoping to see actually large pieces (solid) of white tuna. I can’t stand the greasy taste of chunky tuna and now it seems that is all I can find these days. Just opened a large can and I not only could see it was pink, it was also practically shredded pieces and tasted like it was packed in oil and water. I hope someone knows the name of a good honest brand. If I’m going to pay more for solid in water, I expect solid in water. Not pre-chewed food.

I am a firm believer that each person has a Canned Tuna Limit (CTL)

Once CTL is reached in a lifetime, the only thing you can do is buy actual Tuna steaks. I’m sorry, but this happend to me about a year ago.

Wild Planet, according to Cook’s Illustrated. I like. Expensive, though.

Starkist is a pretty great brand. I’m a professional canned tuna eater. It’s what my diet consists of.
