I currently sleep in a lofted bed (like this one). Sometimes, I like to have sex. But it’s terrifying up there! The whole frame shakes, it’s super loud, and I honestly feel like we’re going to break it and die. People have been doing it on this bed for years and there hasn’t been an incident yet, but it really makes it hard to feel amorous.

I’ve tried stuffing the gaps between the bed and wall with pillows, but they don’t seem to make a huge difference. So, what I am asking for is ideas of positions that work but aren’t so active, I guess. Or if anyone has experience with this situation and can advise me on the likelihood of a injury-causing bed fracture.

I’m prepared to just go down below with the duvet, but climbing a ladder in the middle of things/first thing in the morning isn’t ideal.
