I have noticed a difference in wording at drive through windows. They used to say Thank you for choosing (name of fast food chain), may I take your order.

Now, they say “Welcome to MY (name of fast food restaurant), what may we make for you today?”

Now, granted the new one seems to be always recorded… but why did all of the fast food restaurants by me pick this up?

IT ANNOYS ME GREATLY.
