Flowers as beautiful as they are, are the hardest subject for me to take photographs of, what do you do to ensure a pretty photo?

I use a spray water bottle, just for the contrast, or take the pictures in the morning. That works best for me.

I like to lay my camera on the ground beneath the flower and photograph the stem and the bottom of the flower with the gorgeous sky in the background :)

Get up close, or use a long focal length. Really nice lighting makes a huge difference. I’ve heard that cloudy days are good for outdoor photography, but you could also try “back lighting” and get a shot of sunlight illuminating through the petals. But I’d definitely say get up close, and fill the frame with your subject. Maybe even use a macro setting or larger aperture to blur the background.
