Brain chemicals (probably fueled by late nice spicy food) on over-drive. In reality, dreams don’t mean anything. They are just chemical reactions created by the human sleep process, and what you see or hear in your dreams is based upon what you, personally, see and hear in your life.
That’s why you wouldn’t dream about going to work with no clothes and seeing @Adirondackwannabe‘s co-workers, you’d see your own co-workers. You might dream about your own particular fears, let’s say you have a fear of snakes, but you wouldn’t dream about my particular fears, such as not being able to use the restroom on an airplane (which is multi-faceted: fear of heights, fear of constipation, fear of losing the contents of my bladder, fear of falling, fear of hearing people bang on the door, fear of hearing people hear my “business” taking place).
The more stress you have in your life and the more spicy foods you eat closer to bedtime the more likely it is that you will have vivid dreams. Dreams within dreams is just one of the common themes that humans have, like falling and then waking up immediately upon hitting the ground, or being naked in front of a crowd, or being stuck back in grade school.
I suspect that you might be teasing about changing the course of your life based upon the meaning of your dreams simply because of the rash of dream Q’s that have filled the Fluther coffers.
If not, pray give us more details so that we may assist, and hopefully refrain from dressing you up in another Boy Scout uniform ; – )
