First off, you should know about candlepower vs. lumens (Don’t wrry, it’s a simple read). This will help you decipher the ratings of various lights.
Now, personally, I am for The Torch from Wicked Lasers. 4100 lumens, When you do the math, it may sound like it lacks a bit compared to a 2,000,000 Candlepower light, but I assume you wanted a true flashlight as opposed to a hand-held spotlight. The Torch is about the same size as a 2C Maglite, making it a true flashlight, and has no power cord; it runs in internal batteries. (FYI, the Maglite ML100 is a mere 135 Lumens, and the Mag-Tac is around 310.)
Popular Mechanics said, ”Put simply, this thing is like a light saber. Just the reflection off of a paper towel was painfully bright and had us seeing stars.”, so I imagine that it’s pretty bright; paper towels are not exactly mirrors, so that must have been one hell of a reflection!
BTW, have you ever seen a flashlight put out enough light to ignite things or fry an egg?
