Have you ever had "insert CD" message after you already did insert it?

On some computers, that happens, with 2 out of 10 or so CDs. And other times music plays like there is a CD in the compartment. What makes that happen?

A dirty or faulty CD or a dirty CD reader can cause this.

Clean up your act! Just kidding!

Hmm, I usually know when something has been properly inserted or not.

@FutureMemory I agree that’s something I have no problem distinguishing either.

@Dr_Lawrence they all get wiped before, and they doesn’t seem to be damaged.
@FutureMemory @silky1 Thank you for that. When CD isn’t in, the sensor wouldn’t allow it to close.
