I make up new renditions of ALL songs at random.
I was singing to my 14 year old, beloved goose “Marwyn” the other day, a revised rendition of ” Away in a manger.”
Living with all the nativity creatures over here, sheep and geese and donkeys…. goes like this..
Away in a manger no crib for a bed
the little lord Marwyn lay down his sweet beak
the stars in the sky looked down where he lay
the little goose Marwyn asleep in the hay
The donkeys were braying the poor gander wakes
but little lord Marwyn
no honking he makes
I love my goose Marwyn look down from the sky
and could stay in the barn from morning til night :-)
We also sing a rousing rendition of “Row, row, row your flappys gently down the stream
Marwyn, Marwyn, Marwyn,Maaaaarwyn….life is but a dream.
Bread before bed unless you are dead! :-p
Oh, and I sing a rendidtion of ” Killer Queen” to my cat.
“Cuz she’s a killer queen, dynamite with her killer claws, guaranteed to blow that mousies, miiiiiiiiiind…”
Okay…you now have had a very intimate glimpse into the wackiness of Colomas’ brain.
I think I’ve been living in the hills too long. lol
