Accessories for the Canon HG10 HD camcorder?

I’ve just bought the Canon HG10 camcorder and I’m pretty new to using a camcorder. I was wondering what the best accessories for it would be including a tripod, shotgun mic and reasonably priced editing software.

You might want some filters, polarizer for shooting outside, and for inside maybe color-correction to accomodate your lighting.
What kind of computer you have could influence your choice in software. IMovie that comes with a Mac is a pretty good starter package. While Apple Final Cut Pro is something a lot of professionals use. Adobe Premier is also popular on both Mac and Windows.

You also need charger of your camcorder which is very important.
