I would bet it’s from “The Marriage of Figaro” (doing this from memory) possibly where F. is measuring the bridal chamber-to be. Too rushed now to do the research. Can someone else. Act. 1, possibly scene 1, perhaps. Or related to sending Cherubino off to war. Anyone here speak Italian?
Got it. It’s from the middle section of the famous “Largo al Factotum” from The Barber of Seville. Sung by Figaro, the barber, it describes his skill as a Jack-of-all-trades.
