Would you ever have a snowball fight with your partner?

“Great Question” (5points)

I used to be really shy about this kind of stuff with boyfriends, but today there was a huge snowfall where I live. I ended up going out in it with my boyfriend and we chased each other around throwing snowballs at each other. We also made stuff in the snow. Anyway, would any of you do this with your partner? Or do you think it’s childish? Maybe something else?

What could possibly be childish about having so much harmless fun with wild abandon? Don’t you think that such moments make life a wonderful thing?

Absolutely I would. I would love to do this if only we had snow! Playing together is a really lovely part of being in a relationship. Never be afraid to let your inner child out. If it’s childish to play, count me as a very silly child.

Screw it, life’s too short to not have some fun. I’d go easy on her, I have an excellent arm. She has a noodle

Of Course I have and would. It is like going to the beach and making sand castles. Or going to the playground and playing on the swings.

Timeless Fun!

Thanks for the reminder:

Good for you.
I would only date someone with whom I could have a snowball fight.

zensky's avatar

Sure, why not. Throws snowball at @Bellatrix.

Bellatrix's avatar

Missed.

Throws one back at @Zensky and catches him on the arm.

@blueiiznh Dear, I know you mean well by capitalizing Zensky – but- it doesn’t @ without a small z and thus doesn’t alert me if I leave the thread. I would’ve missed the opportunity to throw another snowball at you!

“Childlike” and “childish” are not at all the same thing. If I can think of a good analogy to contrast them, then I’ll be back with that.

In any case, I think you should always approach life with the most childlike attitude, curiosity and interest that it’s possible for you to muster (and comfortable and safe to display – it’s not always, is it?). And you should never be childish. It’s not even a good thing for children to be childish.

@zensky me thinks you goofeded and meant @Bellatrix @B and not @b would have been most effective
Tay Appention, And I am not your Dear~.

Makes another snowball, inserts a Z in the middle and flings it at @zensky. I obviously perceive you as being more important than the capitalisation of your name suggests dear.

Snowcraft snowball fight

zensky's avatar

@blueiiznh Dear: So, we’re… gulp… over…

@Bellatrix Note to self: wear glasses. And here’s another snowball at you. Muah.

blueiiznh's avatar

@zensky in order to say one is “over”, one had to have had a “start”

You know you lurve me, dyslexia and all.

bob_'s avatar

Sure.

Fortunately, we don’t get snow here (cold weather blows, man).

Unfortunately, I also don’t have a partner, ha.

zensky's avatar

Always good to see you buddy @bob_ – here’s a snowball fer ya.

It wouldn’t work out well. I’m deadly accurate, always have been. I couldn’t even sandbag on it because if I try the damn things would just curve right in and schwack! Then the crying begins :(

jerv's avatar

Unlikely. Last time we did paintball, she hit me in the face. Twice.

ucme's avatar

Been there, done that, got the soaking wet tee-shirt…for the record, she’s a better shot than me, but i’m a faster runner.

Pachy's avatar

Yes except for two tiny drawbacks: it doesn’t snow here and I don’t have a parnter.

LuckyGuy's avatar

Sure I would. (But take note if he intentionally aims for the face. That is a bad sign.)

blueiiznh's avatar

@zensky always. and so it starts. <SPLAT>
