Just be yourself. From a psychological standpoint, freshman year in high school is a real turning point for a lot of kids. It is important to be yourself and remain true to what you believe and know, while leaving room for useful and good information in your life. Do not allow your hormones to control your person completely and make bad decisions (which a lot of your class mates will be doing undoubtedly). It is a great time. There is little responsibility in life, yet a ton of freedom, that, if you learn to appreciate, will be enough. You are young and you should enjoy it, because the myth of getting older and being FREE is just that, a myth. lol. Then comes work, gamily, BILLS, GAS, etc… I am on a soap-box here. I think that a s long as you remember to be confident and remember what you are in school for, you will be great!
