Love and hate are closely related, not polar opposites, why would you hate someone if they mean nothing to you? I realise you have not used the word “love” but I’m reading between the lines due to lack of more clarifying information.

Perhaps you’re open-minded enough to to see possible good points in someone you dislike. That’s a good thing.

Hate is a strong emotion that redounds on the hater. Try to let it go.

The way you’ve mysteriously worded the question, you don’t seem to have “mixed feelings”; you hate. Nothing indefinite about that!

“Mixed feelings”, as the old joke goes, is when you watch your hated mother-in-law drive your lovely new Cadillac off a cliff.

I’ve known (and know) people I didn’t like but few I could say truly hated, despite moments when they said or did something I hated. I’ve also known people I disliked and grew to like or even love.

Waht do your feelings mean to you? Only you can decide that.

I think you may have the ability to forgive.
