Just last week.
I met a woman on line in February. I like her a lot, and she really likes me, in fact she said she fell for me. Bu there were two big problems: she lied about her age on the on line profile (by 11 years) and she lives 100 miles away.
So while we get along well, it seems that since I don’t see her often enough we spend most of the time in bed. Now, I am not complaining about that, but we aren’t growing well together on getting to know each other better. But last weekend she was projecting on us going to her friend’s wedding together, planning vacations, and other things that seem early in a relationship.
Plus, the town she lives in is way out in the boring farmland, nothing going on near there.
So, last week I decided to stop it now before we get too far down the road. Monday was too crazy with the news out of Boston, but Tuesday I called her and told her between the distance and lack of time and my obligations with my kids, it isn’t working out.
She wrote me last Friday, to talk about things I raised, but overall it would take some type of really long term commitment (she said she would move!) and for me it is way too early in the relationship to make that kind of decision.
Plus the age thing bothers me. She is ready to retire, and I know I am working for the next ten years if possible.
