For many years I have this problem: excess of mucus in my nose.Sometimes is liquid and sometimes is dried. When is dried appears like dandruff and comes down to my nose every few minutes.

Yep. That’s what your nose is there for.

If its worse than ordinary nose mucus you probably have an allergy.

Are you taking blood pressure pills? Some of them have the side effect of constant snot and post nasal drip. Check with your doctor – maybe he/she can change you to a different formula if that is the case.

Ask your doc for a prescription of Flonase. It helps me a lot.

is not ordinary is in excess;liquid every time is too cold or too hot and all the time like dandruff. “seek” do you find sexy that i speak with you face to face and some mucus comes down to my nose? I can’t even notice if this happens because is not liquid.I can’t feel it.Would you say then “well, that’s why your nose is there for”?NO

When “it comes down to my nose” where is it coming from? You mean it is coming down from your sinuses? And when liquid is it clear or is it thick and cloudy, snot like?

Sounds like you need to blow your nose more and clean it out. Your nose filters the air you breathe, you might just be breathing a lot of dirty air or air with particulates.

i meant to say it comes in the visible side of the nose. the liquid is clear.

Dairy products have a tendency to create mucus in some people. If I drink a lot of milk I get lots of mucus in my throat…could be worth a try…giving it up I mean..if you do consume a lot of dairy??

What you’re describing @me8 is called Post-Nasal Drip. To properly diagnose why you have excess mucus, you’ll need an ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) doctor.

No matter what, you need to list all of your symptoms to help the doctor assess the condition. Do you have sore throats? Red, watery or itchy eyes? Do you sneeze daily? Do you live in a heavily air polluted location? Does your nose run more at work, home or outside?

None of the above.Run more outside.
