Spinoff question. Obviously we know the Bride’s name, but I don’t think it’s ever said in the movie, in fact they bleep it out at one point. So how is it that we all just know her name was Beatrix Kiddo?

Think about it, if she actually broke the plank she’d just succeed in destroying the one thing keeping the ground above her from collapsing all around her. Best case scenario she changes her end from slow suffocation to quickly choking on dirt or, if she’s really lucky, simply being crushed to death. And that’s why Tarantino pulls a veil over her escape in the movie.
