I have a friend who unlocks my door and he has a relic so the power button has failed. But I don’t open his door. By the time I get settled and am reaching over he is already there. It is also a bigger cab so I have to wiggle ungraciously to reach.
There is another test. When I drive I occasionally unlock his door first, my keyring unlock failed and I was going to replace it with an autostart but haven’t, it’s not a habit I am used to driving alone a lot. It is not just something I do for males though, I will do it for whomever depending on what side of the vehicle I reach first and if I remember.
Another test is whomever makes it to the door first holds the door open for the other.
If the entry is doubled.. Arctic entries are very common in Alaska and power doors tend to be glitchy in extreme cold so alot of them are pull.
One will get the first door the person who gets to enter the first door then holds it open for the other. Reasonable, efficient, thoughtful and not sexist.
Basically those are just a few examples of courteous thoughtful behavior. Which should be a tool in gauging whether or not you want a relationship with them.
