@josie That is probably a dose for the average man, most recommendations for meds and related are based on an average body weight and if the OP weighs less than the “average” adult weight, and by adult I mean both genders comboned. A significant number of women weigh much less than that average and most of the petite women I know complain about having bad side effects or feeling overdrugged when they take medicine. I think doctors over drug them all the time. I have many friends who are about 5’2” sizes 4’s and 6’s. Possibly, your recommended dose should be adjusted down if someone weighs less than 120 pounds. They have lower calorie intake, less blood volume, etc. Just something to think about.
@Headhurts I wouldn’t worry if you took a couple too many today, just skip tomorrow. Amke sure you mention how much you take at your next doctor’s appointment along with any other meds you take. Doctors should ask not only about prescriptions, but also OTC supplements. I think it best not to take large doses of anything unless you have a specific medical reason.
