[Possibly NSFW] How would society differ if women had teeth or claws in their ________?

“Great Question” (0points)

Through a weird sequence of topics with a friend, we ended up wondering what the world would be like if women had teeth or claws in their vaginas.

Yes, I’m serious but not totally.

We figured it would depend on if the women could control the teeth (like retractable claws).

How do you think the world would be different if this were the case? Do you think women would have had more powerful roles in society, earlier on?

It would certainly lower the chances of being raped. However, childbirth and consensual sex may need some extra precautions. Like what if you had involuntary spasms of these teeth/claws or some other abnormal condition which caused them to come out when unwanted? What if the things grew? Would we have to go in to get them trimmed?

What other circumstances may difficult?

They’d have a toothbrush attachment on their vibrator, talk about multitasking!
I wonder if their partners would borrow that toothbrush…hmmm.

Anal sex would be a whole lot more popular.

At the minimum, guys would be a lot more polite. Aggressive abusers would only have the chance to reproduce once. Crime would go down for a couple of generations until frustrated females began to be the aggressors.

Prostitution would be non-existent.

Oh man. And I thought women ALREADY had their way about almost everything….

OK, first, I think there would eventually be only about 30,000 people in the world. On the upside, when the Super Bowl comes around…...everybody gets to go. In fact, all of us would probably have a pretty good shot at playing in it.*

The downside makes me want to go think about something else….

Uhh. Kevlar condom?

Well, women have teeth in their mouths and that does not seem to be stopping anything.

Damn!

Would males have evolved a robust baculum?

Human males probably wouldn’t be the only mammals without a bone in their, erm, bone.

I’m with @poisonedantidote.

The biggest change would need to be giving women 2 times the strength of men (the average man is about twice as strong as the average woman) make them more physically aggressive, also taller than men, and exclusive access to weapons. The average man is about 3 times stronger than the average woman. My husband could probably pretty easily subdue me and kill me if he chose to. He is only 4 inches taller than me, he works out, but not a bulky guy. The only chance I have is a while back I had training to get away and/or try to subdue someone, but I barely remember the moves.

Gives new meaning to the term “chopped nuts”

I guess evolution would have created cartilaginously shelled penises.

It could also be like a praying mantis scenario.

There’d be a huge market for Kevlar condoms.

Believe it or not, there is actually a term for this. It’s called Vagina dentata

elbanditoroso's avatar

@flip86 – yes, there was a movie made several years ago with that as the subject matter. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780622/

The interesting question for me would be what sort of a dentist would do a cleaning down there.
