I eat my fill of the rest (the “meat”) of the pizza first, because that’s the best bit, the crust is kind of wasting space.
Afterwards I will eat the crust, or, depending if it was an extra large pizza and I am full, I will save the crust for the next day. It’s still good, but I prefer the rest of the pizza over it and I have on occasion just thrown it out.
Sometimes my local pizza place has a deal with bread sticks and they give what is essentially pizza sauce with them, then the crust is very good, dipping it in and whatnot.
