How to make iPad app for business presentation?

Hi! My boss wants to do a presentation on an iPad. He wants me to create something that behaves like an app, but exists only on that iPad (not in iTunes). He wants to be able to call up a PDF, some videos, some images, etc. All native on that iPad, no internet connection necessary. Is there a way to easily do this without being a developer? I have design skills, so an app that is customizable would be ideal. I was looking at Adobe InDesign for this but I don’t think I will have the time to get approved by Apple as a developer. Needless to say, this has to be done in a very short time frame.

Since it will function in a “no connection” environment, it means he wants a presentation that will interact with data and files stored on the iPad. Sounds like he wants a fancy presentation in iWork.

Or you could even call it a locally stored web site. That would be pretty easy to make. I just don’t know how to get it on the iPad.

Why not use keynote?

I ended up finding a rather expensive kiosk app. Then i built a web site and loaded it in. It wasn’t the perfect solution and the app had limitations, but it got the job done. I am still on the hunt for something better.

I’m still not understanding why keynote won’t work for what you want.
