Do you have the "stereotypical" photos in your portfolio?
Every novice and even professional photographer, after they’ve gained some experience, seem to all have a few captures in common.
The rusty old abandoned vehicle.
The old civil war cannon (Americans).
The red barn.
A really nice lake capture.
A random urban scene.
A mountain overlook.
Their pet.
Every portfolio I’ve ever looked at has at least 4 of these captures. It’s fine I suppose but why do you think people gravitate towards the same things in a field that generally promotes diversity and creativity? It’s just an observation. Please, feel free to share your photos along with your comments!
