I am having a cookout with a group of friends and the other main course will be halibut in a French sauce the lady only tried once and says was divine.

I feel the pressure to kick it up a notch but don’t have a lot of time to dig up and try various dishes.

Now I am hoping Kardamom will offer some prime suggestions. But I still want to hear from the rest of ya’ ll especially seeing as she is vegan.

I am about an intermediate cook. So if it is super complicated or involves double broilers we might be in trouble.
