@Katniss Stale cheetos are my fav. Gotta leave the bag open for about 48 hrs. and periodically shake them around for perfectly uniform staleness distribution. lol
Yes, there is sedentary and then there is complete inertia.
You can be sedentary for the most part, but the other part you have to make up for with exercise of some kind and mental stimulation.
Get some weights and lift them while watching Tv, do leg lifts if you are stuck in a chair.
Do deep knee bends and do not eat a lot of fats, sugar and carbs or you will blow up like a balloon.
Get some field guides on birds and insects and learn to identify your local nature friends.
Learn to cook. Make healthy homemade soups and salads. The internet is full of great recipes.
Rearrange your home from time to time to change things up.
Buy some house plants and tend to them, and yes, get a prt if you can make the commitment to care for it well, a cat won’t have as many needs as a dog. A bird would be good too, maybe a cockateil. They are great, smart, funny birds, love attention and can learn to talk.
