For Firefox:
select the menu item Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks.You can browse the bookmark tree and delete items by right clicking on them and selecting delete or by selecting them and pressing the delete key.

For Safari

For Google Chrome:
You need to do it manually for each and every site under your “other bookmarks” forlder:

1. Click on the “other bookmarks” folder
2. Open the site you would like to remove
3. Press the “Apple button” + “D” – Window will open, giving you the option to “remove” bookmarked site.
4. As said, you will need to repeat the process for every site you would like to remove
